You gave us feedback and we listened – Introducing the totally new, completely redesigned Creative and Critical Thinking 2nd Edition, now being offered as a three part, live and interactive webinar series to state fish and wildlife employees. This new webinar platform is an additional delivery vehicle for us and there is no cost during the beta testing phase of this course (Modest Instructor fees will apply once beta testing is complete.)
Creative thought and critical thinking are inextricably intertwined – by increasing the creative aspects to our thinking we enhance our capacity to critically think, and if we’re better critical thinkers we become more effective problem solvers and decision-makers. As the saying goes, if we want different results, we may need to use different thinking to get there. This highly interactive and application focused webinar is taught online in three, 2 hour sessions: Stretching Your Rubber Band, Climbing Out of the Box, and Distilling Your Creative Juices. Included will be: mindmapping, brainstorming, moving past the mental thinking blocks, distinguishing between bias, inference and observation, the differences in brain function in decision-making, gender differences, individual versus group thinking, mind popping, and tons more! The webinar design is efficient, highly practical, and lots of fun. There will be assignments, but they'll be cool. There is no textbook required; a downloadable workbook will be provided. Sessions will be available in two tracks offering different time slots to best accommodate your schedule. You will need a computer, internet connection, and a phone. (Optional: webcam and microphone) (Choose to enroll in Session 1 or Session 2 based on which schedule is best for you).
