Join MAT - Training Services Administrator position is open Print E-mail

The Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies’ Management Assistance Team (MAT) in Shepherdstown, WV, seeks a high-energy, self-directed, detail-oriented individual to provide full-time support services for the conservation professionals participating in MAT’s leadership and organization development training.


The incumbent is responsible for tracking student participation in classes and workshops, managing the online course delivery system, assisting with production and distribution of learning materials, and ensuring that all students’ needs are met with the highest standards of customer service. The incumbent will also be responsible for the MAT library and will assist with many other duties as needed by the team.

This position requires a broad skill set including exceptional people skills, superior technical skills/aptitude, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task under tight deadlines, and the desire to work in a team environment.

Must be able to demonstrate excellent skills with MS Word and Excel. Proficiency with Access or other databases, website maintenance, desktop publishing, Photoshop and PowerPoint are preferred. The incumbent must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and competing priorities. Exceptional problem solving skills are essential for success. The MAT team values creativity, integrity, competence, self-motivation, and team cooperation.

As a full-time employee of the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and member of MAT, the incumbent would receive an excellent benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and sick leave, and time off for federal holidays. Salary is in low 30s.
