Requirements

Certification Requirements

This article details the program outline for the Leadership Certification. The certification includes core courses and options for elective courses. Participants may meet the certificaiton requirements entirely through online courses or a combination of online courses and face-to-face courses.

Core Courses:

(All courses in this list are required)

Creative and Critical Thinking (Recommended first or as soon as possible in the program of study.)

Secrets of Agency Assessment and Development
Leader as Supervisor (Available first half of 2008)
The Adaptive Leader
Power
Final Project (Taken after other program of study requirements are met, this experiential-based final project emphasizes the practice of leadership principles learned throughout the program of study.)

MAT Face-to-Face Courses

Franklin- Covey Courses

Covey 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
(1-day and "Introduction" course are not eligible)

Other Training

Training conducted by your agency may be eligible for elective credit. To avoid content duplication, any course syllabus can be sent to MAT for review and inclusion.
